Green Legacy Nigeria Limited was established in November 2021 as a pioneering environmental solutions company, committed to sustainability, agroforestry, and climate resilience. Originally founded as Rail Trees Green Legacy (RTGL), the company was created to support reforestation efforts along the Kano–Maradi rail corridor.

Since then, Green Legacy Nigeria Limited has broadened its vision and scaled up its operations to include large-scale environmental reforestation programmes, sustainable agricultural initiatives, and community-focused economic empowerment projects. Through strategic partnerships and the integration of innovative technologies, the company continues to play a significant role in advancing a greener, more sustainable future for Nigeria and beyond.
